High School Advantage Deluxe

I am trying to start High School Advantage Deluxe and it won't let me get
past the initial sign in screen. (the one where it asks you to type in your name) |

In this sign in screen, there are ten lines, with a blank space next to
each number. Move your mouse over any of the ten blank spaces. After you have clicked on
the space, a white box will appear with a blinking cursor inside. Type in your name and
click done. |

For PC users, change your color setting to 256 colors. If you are using
256 colors and this occurs, change it to High Color (16 bit) |

Whenever I enter the program, my computer states that the program has
performed an illegal operation and must be turned off. |

Click on the mute button, which is on the right side of the screen, and
you will stay on that page until you click on the forward or backward button. |
